Dragash (Sharri) is elevated at the border between the two sites, Opoja and Gora. Both of these sites represent two ethnicities with different languages. I was ethnically pure with Albanians and with their Albanian language and Gora ethnically pure only Gorani, Bosnian Muslims, with their specific Gorani, Bosniak language. This town is a municipal center, which lies south of Prizren, in the Sharr Mountains, at an altitude of about 1050 m. It is connected with Prizren by asphalt road about 37.km. In this municipal center is concentrated the joint administration of the entire municipality, where services are performed by about 50 thousand inhabitants of this municipality.
EDUCATION .- There is the elementary school "Fetah Sylejmani", where lessons are also attended by Shaina, Xërrxa, Rrenc, Kukajani, Radesha, Lybevisht and Leshtan. Middle School "Ruzhdi Berisha" with over 9,000 students, where the teaching is conducted in Albanian and Bosnian languages, and this year is expected the start of the construction of the Vocational Secondary School.
HEALTH - The main center of Family Medicine, with about 100 workers, is located in this commune center, which is also located in most of the largest villages in Opoja and Gora.
CULTURE - The city has a new House of Culture, where also the Youth Center, the Public Library with reading room and the office of computer for children are also in operation.
In Dragash / Dragaš are located facilities of other institutions such as Municipal Court, Center for Social Work, Employment Office, Firefighting Center, Kosovo Police Building, and some other facilities. Among the economic activities is the wool casting factory "Remateks" (formerly "Sharrteksi"), which has resumed work thanks to the engagement of a Turkish company. Currently, about 400 workers are employed in this industrial facility, with the aim of increasing this number within a short time.
