Праздник - Отели в Албании Borsh

Archaeological excavations at the Castle of Kruja prove to have been an Illyrian settlement since the 3rd century BC.
The nearby village of Zgërdhesh is thought to have been the Albanopolis mentioned by Ptolemy in the second century of our era. With its abandonment at the beginning of the Middle Ages, the inhabitants found a more protected place in Kruja, and over time the city became important for the entire province.
It is mentioned for the first time as a bishopric center in a document in 879.
Kruja was at the center of the first Albanian feudal state, which in the year 1190 was in charge of Progon and later his sons Gjin (1198-1206) and Dhimitri (1206-1216).
The city reached its peak in the 13th and 14th centuries. The ormans invaded it for the first time in 1396 and secondly in 1415. In 1430 a rebellion led by Gjon Kastrioti broke out.
With the return of his son Skanderbeg in 1443, Kruja became the center of the XVI century Albanian epic against the Ottomans and its name, then known throughout Europe. With Skanderbeg resisted the three siblings 1450, 1466 and 1467.
The Ottomans managed to get it in 1478. The city collapsed, many inhabitants were massacred, the rest migrated.
